How do you transform a chance encounter into a visual narrative brimming with danger, drama, and authenticity? While attending a production meeting in Dallas, we stumbled upon the Texas State Fair and were captivated by the Lone Star Stampede—an electrifying performance bringing the tale of the American West to life.

With a camera, a single strobe light, and a determination to capture the essence of the show, we embedded ourselves with the troupe over two thrilling days. The challenges were immense: rearing horses inches away, massive Texas Longhorn cattle maneuvering unpredictably, and confined spaces that demanded constant vigilance. Timing was everything as we navigated an environment teeming with potential hazards, transforming fleeting moments into impactful imagery.

The result is a powerful visual story that celebrates the grit and grandeur of the West. This project highlights our ability to adapt, thrive in high-pressure environments, and uncover compelling stories wherever we go.
