How do you celebrate the individuality and creativity of a city’s manufacturing community? For San Francisco Made, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we embarked on a pro bono campaign to create an image library showcasing 24 local manufacturers and businesses.
Over four weeks, we captured unique environmental portraits that celebrated the people and processes behind the products. From bustling workshops to serene studios, each setting highlighted the individuality and diversity of the Bay Area’s vibrant maker community.
Our goal was to create visuals that would elevate the nonprofit’s corporate communication and fundraising initiatives. By integrating our storytelling expertise with authentic imagery, we aimed to strengthen connections between these businesses and their supporters.
This project highlights our passion for giving back, using photography to honor the creativity and resilience of local industries while reinforcing their importance to the community.
