San Francisco Ballet Dancer Shoot
This year, we decided to do something a bit different for the most recent installment of the Mission Artists United open studios. Instead of hanging pictures on the wall and offering free snacks and wine to meandering observers, we opted to bring a live shoot to the studio so the people could see what a fast-paced, energetic shoot is all about. And what a success it was! Fascinated onlookers crowded around the studio to watch Australian ballet extraordinaire and recent San Francisco transplant, Luke Ingham, who joined the prestigious San Francisco Ballet just under a year ago, jump and flip fearlessly in front of David’s camera.
Fortunately, our good friend and fellow Aussie native (they’re everywhere!), Matthew Wells, was on hand to capture the afternoon with his trusty video camera, and he shot and edited this short but-oh-so-sweet video which captures some spectacular footage from the event. Brilliant work, Matthew! And thanks again!
